Ian Durman has worked at various agencies in Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire including renowned advertising agency ‘Poulters’ in Leeds.

Over the past 30 years he has worked with many well known brands and organisations including NHS, Hewlett-Packard, Pepsi, Britvic, William Hill, ASDA and Morrisons to name a few. His expertise includes brand creation, conceptual design, advertising campaigns, point-of-sale, brochure design, illustration, marketing and design for print and web.

He is responsible for the development and refinement of all design and creative concepts, whilst ensuring the consistent brand execution across print and web formats. He also oversees the art working of all creative output to ensure consistency and quality of final delivery.



Away from work Ian has spoken several times at Sheffield Hallam University Business School, passing on knowledge and advice to undergraduates - the next generation of marketeers. He's also a keen runner, taking part in several charity runs and raising funds for cancer research.

Simon is a bit of an 'Iron Man' enthusiast away from his desk and has undertaken all manner of physical challenges including running the 'Yorkshire Three Peaks' and cycling the 'Etap du Dales' along with several half marathons and extreme endurance races. Not for the faint hearted!

A next generation marketeer


Eve Lee-Durman is currently studying Business Marketing at Lincoln University and has just completed her year in industry, working at Cranswick Foods as part of the Sainsburys team.

She thoroughly enjoyed her time at Cranswick and is eager to complete her degree and get into the world of marketing full time.



With a very strong work ethic (rising at 5.30am every morning for her 1.5 hour drive to the Cranswick offices), good organisational and communication skills, and most importantly, an overiding desire to succeed, Eve has a great future to look forward to in the marketing world.

Outside work, Eve is a keen gym user and whilst at Lincoln Uni was elected to Business Events Manager. On her return she has been asked to speak to new marketing students about her experience in the industry.

Eve is currently working for FrankCreative, developing new business leads as a marketing executive and attending networking events.
