After 20 years working for large and small agencies in the design and marketing sector, owner Ian Durman set up FrankCreative in 2005, offering a wide range of creative services.

An award wining creative thinker, Ian has worked for agencies in Leeds, Sheffield and Nottingham.
With 90% of FrankCreative's work coming from referrals it's easy to see why they're going strong 10 years later - client satisfaction is as important as the creative thinking that goes into a project. "Collaboration is the key - even though most clients are every busy in the day-to-day running of their businesses, they still like to be kept in the loop. Our work method is simple too: the client wants to get from A to B with their project - whether it's a new logo, a web site or a marketing campaign. We like to take them from A to C - to exceed their expectations and deliver a result that achieves their original aims and then some."

The name 'Frank' came from being open and straight forward with clients and from the agencies approach to work. "It's always the simplest ideas that work the best. If you have to start explaining why a piece of design is done a certain way or why and advert looks like it does, then it's failed. The viewer should get it straight away."

Over the past 30 years he has worked with many well known brands including Redrow Homes, Britvic, Hewlett-Packard, Pepsi, William Hill, Yorkshire Forward and Morrisons to name a few. His expertise includes brand creation, conceptual design, advertising campaigns, point-of-sale, brochure design, illustration, marketing and design for print and web.
Ian is responsible for the development and refinement of all design and creative concepts, whilst ensuring the consistent brand execution across print formats and communication media. He also oversees the art working of all designs to ensure consistency and quality of final delivery
